A TRIBUTE OF THE COMMUNIST PARTY MARXIST KENYA TO THOSE KILLED, DISAPPEARED, ABDUCTED, TORTURED AND IMPRISONED DURING THE RUTO REGIME
SAY THEIR NAMES
The Kenyan flag stands as a symbol of defiance against comprador rule.
Our martyrs never die.
Wrapped in the patriotic Kenyan flag, they live on in the struggle and in the memory of the people.
The blood of our martyrs shall forever bear witness to the sacrifices made in the fight for justice and liberation.
#JusticeForOurMashujaas
History is not written only by those who occupy the highest offices of the State. History is written in the blood, courage, and sacrifice of ordinary people who rise to defend justice, dignity, democracy, and the future of their country.
This memorial is dedicated to every Kenyan who has lost their life, disappeared, been abducted, tortured, imprisoned, or subjected to political persecution during this defining period in our nation’s history.
These are not statistics.
They were workers.
They were peasants.
They were students.
They were unemployed youth.
They were artists.
They were professionals.
They were mothers.
They were fathers.
They were children.
They were sons and daughters of Kenya.
Each had a name.
Each had a family.
Each had dreams.
Each deserved to live.
The ruling classes have always attempted to erase the memory of those who resist. They bury evidence. They intimidate witnesses. They silence families. They manipulate official records. They reduce human beings to numbers.
The people must refuse this erasure.
To remember is to resist.
To record is to defend the truth.
To preserve memory is to defend history itself.
Every name written here is an act of collective remembrance.
Every testimony is an act of courage.
Every correction is an act of historical responsibility.
Every addition strengthens the struggle against forgetting.
The Communist Party Marxist Kenya believes that no society can build a democratic future upon forgotten graves, hidden prisons, unanswered disappearances, and unacknowledged suffering. The memory of those who paid the highest price belongs to the entire people and must be defended by the entire people.
JUNE 25
June 25 has entered the history of Kenya as a day that shall forever belong to the people.
On this day, workers, peasants, students, professionals, artists, unemployed youth, women and men from every part of our country rose to defend justice, dignity, democracy, and the future of Kenya.
Many never returned home.
Some were shot dead.
Some disappeared.
Some were abducted.
Some were tortured.
Some remain missing.
Others continue to carry visible and invisible wounds.
Their families continue to search for truth.
Their communities continue to demand justice.
The Communist Party Marxist Kenya honours every person who stood against repression and pays tribute to every victim whose life was taken or forever changed by State violence.
June 25 is therefore not merely a date.
It is a day of remembrance.
It is a day of mourning.
It is a day of resistance.
It is a day of recommitment.
Every year we shall remember those who gave everything.
Every year we shall defend the truth against distortion.
Every year we shall honour those who refused to surrender.
Every year we shall renew our commitment to justice, democracy, national sovereignty, and the liberation of our people.
If a name has been omitted, add it.
If information requires correction, correct it.
If a family wishes their loved one to be remembered, record their name.
No victim should disappear into statistics.
No family should disappear into silence.
No crime should disappear from history.

ADD YOUR HANDWRITING
This memorial remains unfinished because justice remains unfinished.
Every missing name is a call to remember.
Every correction is a defence of truth.
Every testimony strengthens the historical record.
Every family deserves to know that their loved one will never be forgotten.
This memorial is not the property of any political party, organisation, institution, or individual.
It belongs to the people.
Protect it.
Expand it.
Correct it.
Preserve it.
Pass it from one generation to the next.
For a people who forget their martyrs surrender their future.
For a people who remember become impossible to defeat.
History will judge those responsible for repression.
History will honour those who stood for justice.
History will remember those whose names are written here.
SAY THEIR NAMES.
REMEMBER THEM.
RECORD THEM.
DEFEND THE TRUTH.
NEVER LET HISTORY FORGET.
