Delivered by the General Secretary, Booker Omole on the 62nd

 African Liberation Day, 2025

Held at the United Kenya Club, Nairobi

May 25, 2025, 2 P.M.

Revolutionary Pan-African Unity – The Battle for Socialism Against Imperialism

Comrades,

Today, the Central Committee of the Communist Party Marxist Kenya (CPMK) addresses the people of Kenya, Africa, and the world. We speak not to commemorate, but to mobilise. Not to look back, but to march forward.

African Liberation Day is not a ritual of the past.

It is a declaration of war.

A red banner of defiance.

A battle cry for the final blow against imperialism and its agents.

We say it without fear: what Kenya gained in 1963 was not freedom; it was a fraud.

It was a false flag, waved by collaborators.

It was sham independence, handed over to compradors by the British colonisers.

It was a betrayal to the blood of our martyrs

They cheated us all

Our land remains in the hands of thieves.

Our labour remains enslaved by international finance capital.

Our women remain burdened by patriarchal tradition and feudal exploitation.

And our children are being trained to serve empire, not build Africa.

Comrades, we must tear off the mask of neocolonialism.

We must speak its name.

We must denounce the comprador-bureaucrat bourgeoisie who wear African names but serve imperialist masters.

These imperialist dogs, whoring the African continent must be crashed.

And we must return to the true path; the path lit by the blood of Field Marshal Dedan Kimathi.

He fought not for a flag, but for a revolution.

Not for the Queen’s pardon, but for the people’s victory.

He is the eternal symbol of our National Democratic Revolution (NDR).

Wafanyi kazi, nyakua mashamba!

Nyakua!

Wafanyi kazi, komboa chakula!

Komboa!

Wafanyi kazi, pigania uhuru!

Pigania!

Be like Fidel!

Fidel Castro Ruz; Comrade of steel, commander of dignity, teacher of revolution!

One hundred years since his birth, and still his voice thunders across the hills of Africa!

When the empire tightened its grip, he did not tremble; he rose!

When Angola called, he answered!

When apartheid roared, he struck it down with Cuban steel and African blood!

He did not send banks. He did not send debt.

He sent soldiers, medics, teachers; not to dominate, but to liberate!

Fidel taught us: True internationalism is not charity. It is duty!

He showed the world that a small people, united and armed with truth, can defeat a giant!

He showed that revolution is not only talk; it is action!

It is rice for the hungry, medicine for the sick, guns for the oppressed, and courage for the wavering!

Fidel is not gone.

Fidel lives in every villager who says NO to imperialism.

Fidel lives in every youth who takes up the red banner of socialism.

Fidel lives in every African fighter who dares to dream beyond borders!

So today we say: Long live Fidel! Long live proletarian internationalism!

And we tell the imperialists: Be afraid; for Africa remembers her friends. And she is arming her people.

Today, the US militarises Africa through AFRICOM.

It builds bases, trains killers, installs puppets; all in the name of “security.”

But security for whom?

Not for the Congolese farmer. Not for the Sudanese mother.

Not for the Kenyan worker.

AFRICOM is the armed wing of imperialism.

Manufacturing death and suffering in the African continent

Kenya will not be a launching pad for American bombs.

Africa is not a military outpost of the United States.

AFRICOM must be dismantled.

Africa is not the backyard of the US ruling class now represented by the bigot Trump

The enemy must be named. The enemy must be opposed.

And we declare, with the certainty of history:

Alliance of Sahel States and Palestine are the two weakest links of US imperialism.

They are not just breaking points; they are burial grounds.

The red earth of Africa and the resistance stones of Gaza shall bury the empire.

ASS and Palestine shall be the burial site of the decadent US empire!

We salute the revolutionary forces standing with us in this battle:

AAPRP – principal co-organisers of African Liberation Day and lifelong comrades of the Pan-African revolution.

Wahenga Youth – the artists youth of iron discipline and burning clarity.

Revolutionary Youth League – foot soldiers of anti-colonial, anti-feudal and anti-imperialist resistance.

Revolutionary Students Commission – fighting for ideological hegemony in the universities.

Revolutionary Women League – builders of dual liberation.

Pio Gama Pinto Institute – centre of ideological education.

Kasarani Social Justice Centre – bastion of mass organising and community struggle.

Today also marks the end of the Fourth Theoretical Conference (Theocon) of anti-imperialist forces.

From Kenya to the Philippines, the fight against comprador and bureaucrat capitalism unites us.

We declare: theory is not luxury; it is a weapon for action.

We are forging the ideological sword to cut through the fog of neocolonialism.

We are not victims.

We are not spectators.

We are the gravediggers of imperialism.

We are the torchbearers of scientific socialism in Africa.

We are building the vanguard of the Second and Final Liberation of Africa.

Long live Revolutionary Pan-African Unity!

Long live Dedan Kimathi and the heroes of the NDR!

Down with Imperialism! Down with AFRICOM! Down with the Comprador State!

Victory to the Workers and Peasants of Africa!

Wafanyi kazi, nyakua mashamba!

Nyakua!

Wafanyi kazi, komboa chakula!

Komboa!

Wafanyi kazi, pigania uhuru!

Pigania!

Until we crash the big landlords!

Mapambano Bado Yanaendelea!

Until we crash the comprador class!

Mapambano Bado Yanaendelea!

Until we crash the bureaucrat class!

Mapambano Bado Yanaendelea!

Until we win!

Mapambano Bado Yanaendelea!

Let the capitalist tremble! Communism is here! Africa is Red!

End

LETTER TO THE GLOBAL NORTH
05 May 2026 14:16

Comrades, We address you at a historical precipice. The global capitalist system, in its advanced stage of heightened imperialism, is characterized by deepening crises and escalating violence. The centers of imperial power—Washington, Brussels, London, Paris are intensifying their efforts to maintain a hegemony that is increasingly contested. In the Global South, we are the primary targets of this aggression. The mechanisms of our oppression are calculated and brutal. We are strangled by illegitimate debt, wielded not as economic aid, but as a weapon of political control by institution [ ... ]
